Dianella tasmanica ‘Variegata’




FEATURES: A drought-resistant perennial flowering plant. Also called flax lily. Handsome variegated strappy foliage is complimented by stalks of shiny turquoise blue berries from fall into winter. Variegated flax lily grows from 1 to 3 feet tall and spread equally.

CONDITIONS: Likes shady area but does best when it receives full or partial sun for most of the day.e. Tolerates clay, sand and well drained soils.

FOR BEST RESULTS: Water regularly to moist soil in first growing season for a stronger deep root system. In second and following seasons, it needs watering during drought.

PLANTING IDEAS: mass planting near pools, garden beds and boarders.
